No Nap; Too Much to Do

So, after staying up until nearly midnight, Eladia would surely spend the next day sleeping. Let's see:

9:30 AM - The family wakes up.

10:15 AM (+45min) - Breakfast is served.

11:00 AM (+1:30hr) - Mia and Matthew call to invite the family to join them, Uncle Ken, Aunt Annette and Cousin Jeramy at the farm park. No time for a nap as Mom and Dad rush to clean up and pack the monster diaper bag. Maybe she'll nap in the car.

12:15 PM (+2:45hr) - They meet up with the cousins; no nap happened. Again, Mia graciously agreed to ride with Mom, Dad, and Eladia (i.e., she ran out to the car as soon as they arrived, opened the door, started to climb in, and then said "since my booster seat is already in their car, can I go with them.") Maybe Eladia will sleep on the way to the park.

12:45 PM (+3:15hr) - Not an ounce of napping on that ride either. Now it's time for the Deanna Rose Children's Farm (i.e., clearly no time to sleep).

3:15 PM (+5:45hr) - Well, she still didn't sleep in the car. But, she had her chicken nuggets at Chick-fil-a, so everything was good for lunch.

3:45 PM (+6:15hr) - Now it was time for Mom and Dad to get Eladia home for a nap before they went back over to the cousins' for dinner.... except they needed to drop Mia off first. So, instead of home, they decided to let Eladia sleep in the car, and then just finish her nap at the cousins' instead of making multiple trips.

3:55 PM (+6:25hr) - Well, the first part of the nap plan failed.... she stayed awake in the car. At this point a little outside playing couldn't hurt... especially since Eladia seemed so content.

4:30 PM (+7hr) - Nap time!! Mom and Mia took Eladia up to Mia's room for a long deserved nap.

5:00 PM (+7:30hr) - Mom concedes: Eladia never fell asleep. So, now it's time for kickball and chasing the rocket. Eladia also spent a lot of the time trying to run down the hill without tripping; took 15 minutes, but she finally made it.

6:15 PM (+8:45hr) - The fun moved inside for a little Wii action (Uncle Ken had already snuck in to play the Wii some time ago). Eladia was still going strong. Dad and Matthew took Eladia upstairs, and she was her usual self (i.e., taking all of the pictures off of the table... she really liked the small one of "Great Aunt Somebody" -- that was the name give by her cousin). They came back downstairs, and Eladia kept on playing, and playing, and playing.

7:30 PM (+10hr) - Dinner Time. Can't sleep when there is food present.

8:15 PM (+10:45hr) - The Dive!! Eladia stopped being careful, and attempted to walk off of the deck forward (a drop of a good foot and a half). Needless to say, the landing was not graceful. However, Eladia somehow managed to keep her head up, and landed on her belly. Dad picked her up to see if she was hurt; she only cried for a few seconds then started to squirm so she could be let down to play some more.

9:00 PM (+11:30hr) - Things started to wind down, and the cousins got ready for bed. Eladia was starting to get fussy when held, but was perfectly content to play on her own.

10:00 PM (+12:30hr) - With everyone wound down, Mom and Dad finally had a chance to see Aunt Annette's presentation. Uncle Ken was nice enough to play with Eladia downstairs.

10:30 PM (+13hr) - She finally crashed in Uncle Ken's arms. Didn't even stir as she was being put in her car seat.

11:00 PM (-30min) - Out the whole car ride. Mom took her upstairs to change her diapers and get her into jammers. This was when she finally got cranky; she just wanted Mom to put her to bed and leave. (Suppose there is a first time for everything).
