While Daddy was outside mowing, Mommy was awakened from her nap by a strange noise. It was Eladia going through Mommy's purse. Eladia looked up, asked "want some," and handed Mommy a piece of gum. That's when Mommy discovered there were only two pieces of her new pack of gum left.
The real question was, "where are the wrappers?" They were nowhere to be found. Could Eladia have sat there and ate the gum wrappers and all????????
Well, that was all that could be assumed until Mommy went in Eladia's room later. There, sitting on the bed, was each and every wrapper. Apparently, Eladia spent the entire nap taking a piece of gum out of the purse, sneaking upstairs, and unwrapping and eating it so Mommy wouldn't hear. Eladia got greedy and, caught with her hand in the purse by Mommy, turned on the charm and "shared."
(Again, do we say "bad Eladia," or "good cognitive development")
