Coping with the Vacuum

When she was young, Eladia was deathly afraid of the running vacuum. As she got older, she would run away from the vacuum when it was turned on, and watch from a safe distance. As she got more daring, she would approach the vacuum when it was on, but always made sure to stay in front of it. Then, she started laughing at it. Now, she wants to join in.
