The title "Daddy" has seemed to disappear from Eladia's vocabulary. It started a few weeks ago after hanging out with her cousins. That evening Eladia started asking "Uncle Brad" for things. Daddy explained he is not her uncle; he is her daddy. So, Eladia dropped the "Uncle" title......
...... and it has been "Brad" ever since. "Can you get this for me, Brad?" "What are you doing, Brad?" Respond, don't respond, get angry, do nothing. Didn't matter. Then there was this exchange:
"Can you open this for me, Brad?" Eladia asked.
Daddy, trying to correct things, asked, "What is my name?"
Eladia replied, "You're Daddy. Can you open this for me, Brad?"
Well, at least she called him "Daddy" by name...... for that day at least. A couple of days later she approached a parent at the park and said, "Hi. I'm Eladia. This is my friend Brad."
