18 Hours of Staring at the Back of a Seat

So, it was supposed to be a nice two-day trip back to Buffalo for Christmas. However, the HVAC blower decided to stop working Saturday, so we had no heat in the V (it's not really good for sport or utility). Luckily, it happened before departing, and not on the road.

Eladia was a great traveling companion. Played and slept most of the ride, without much fussing. So, lack of experience was not a problem for her.

Can't say the same thing about her parents. Around 10:00 PM in Columbus (13 down - with stops), the parents made a bold decision to see how far they could push it. Just past midnight -- approaching Cleveland -- getting tired -- but Eladia out -- keep going. Around 1:30 in the morning -- passing Erie -- can't stop this close. A little after 3 in the morning -- roll in -- made it fairly easily. Only one problem, Eladia was rested; mom and dad were not (and dad had to go into work at 9).

(It should be noted that Eladia only squirmed for half an hour, or so, before falling back asleep).
