I feel pretty....... and grumpy.

Six month appointment today. They asked about rolling over, and sitting up with support. They didn't ask about sitting up without support, pulling to a stand...... and admiring oneself in the mirror.

"I feel pretty, so pretty..."

All in all, the appointment went great. Eladia showed off all of her tricks for the doctor, grabbed at the doctor's necklace, and even put the doctor's stethoscope in her mouth....... the earpiece of the stethoscope. We found out that her growth is on schedule, and her motor development is ahead of schedule. The doctor also told us not to worry about Eladia stumbling and bumping into things because she has a hard head; not that we were worried because we could already tell she was hard headed.

Then came the vaccines. First the oral, which Eladia sucked down. Then the shots, which came to four with the flu shot. As with last time, Eladia tried to get through the first shot without crying.... but she was only so tough.

For the rest of the day, Eladia was gruuuuuumpy. It was so bad, not even a shopping trip to The Plaza could cheer her up.

The fabulous new hat she found got comments from everyone; no change in mood.
